Hotel & Kurhaus Flühli is a warm cozy place to stay in the heart of Switzerland. We settled our first night in Switzerland in this historic hotel which is amazingly already over a hundred year old. We actually had no plan on exploring Flühli, we just needed a hotel that is close to Luzern, Engelberg, and Klausenpass.
As we arrived at the Hotel, a nice lady approached us and gave us our Room Key. Everything is old from outside and inside which i am totally digging in. I love everything old and classic like its a food to my soul.
In the hallway where our room is located, a small living room and an old mini library can be found. It was all simple and everything is made out of wood and you can absolutely feel that there's a certain nostalgia and romance in this place.
The room is simple, pretty and most importantly, clean. I like the bathroom a lot; modern and not too small. The Wi-Fi is also quite fast and you can watch television while resting in this cozy bed.
Before we went to our room, the host told us that the Restaurant is closed because there will be a concert that night in the hotel. It was fine since we planned to drive to Luzern and thought to have a dinner in the city. Flühli is roughly 46 km or 54 mins drive from Luzern. But they have one pretty challenging road, especially in the night. It took us a bit longer on the way since some part of the road was under construction. But the Nature and the view outside just almost gave me a heart attack in a very positive way. It was breathtaking!

The next morning, we had a simple breakfast in the hotel for 15 Euros each person which is expensive for the breakfast that they offer but its a normal swiss price. I really like the breakfast area though. It is charming that i had to take photos before actually checking the food. :)
It was time to leave, the host is very friendly and accommodating. So I must say that our stay was quite nice. We had a night full of good rest after 888 km drive the day before.
